Midge Ure is known for being a musician. He is also one of the organisers of Live aid. He is famous for being a musician. He created the song 'Do they know it's Christmas' and he made it with Bob Geldof and other more artist.
At Christmas time, we let in light and we banish shade
Throw your arms around the world at Christmas time
At Christmas time it's hard, but when you're having fun
And it's a world of dread and fear
There are the clanging chimes of doom
The greatest gift they'll get this year is life
No rain nor rivers flow
Raise a glass for everyone
If the table was turned would you survive
Underneath that burning sun
Give a little help to the helpless
Let them know it's Christmas time again
Feed the world
Let them know it's Christmas time again
Feed the world
Let them know it's Christmas time again
Feed the world
Let them know it's Christmas time again
Feed the world
Feed the world
Feed the world
(Feed the world)
Feed the world
Feed the world

Beatlemania - Social studies
I think you'll understand
When I say that somethin'
I want to hold your hand
I want to hold your hand
I want to hold your hand
You'll let me be your man
And please, say to me
You'll let me hold your hand
Now, let me hold your hand
I want to hold your hand
I feel happy inside
It's such a feelin' that my love
I can't hide
I can't hide
I can't hide
I think you'll understand
When I say that somethin'
I want to hold your hand
I want to hold your hand
I want to hold your hand
I feel happy inside
It's such a feelin' that my love
I can't hide
I can't hide
I can't hide
I think you'll understand
When I feel that somethin'
I want to hold your hand
I want to hold your hand
I want to hold your hand
I want to hold your hand

Hello everyone, In social studies, we are learning about Parihaka and about their peace and passive resistance. We also look at other leaders who had done the same thing as Parihaka, they use peace, not violence. We look at how the native people in parihaka impacted and how songs are used during the event.

Hello everyone, today in science we are experimenting on Zinc Oxide. We have to heat up Zinc Oxide and observe what happened next.
Aim: What change happens when we heat Zinc Oxide?
Equipment: Bunsen burner, Heat mat, Tripod, Safety glasses, Crucible Holder and Zinc Oxide
Results: When it was heating up it was turning yellow and when we turn it off it turns back to white.
Discussion: When heated, the electrons in Zinc move to other levels, making it change colours.

Name Acronym - 10 ESOL
Hello everyone, in ESOL we are doing a acronym with our names. We did this activity so we can get to know each other more and also give our classroom with colours. Here is the acronym that I made with my name.
I put these words in my names because it’s how they describe me.
I have to pick 2 letters that describe me. I pick artistic and imaginative.
Imaginative - I pick this because I love to imagine things so I can get out of the real world. This also helps me to do some work.
Artistic - I pick this because I like to do art and be creative with art. This helps me visual stuff and that’s why I like it.

321 RIQ - 10 ESOL
Hello everyone, today in ESOL we are learning about 321 RIQ. First I have to explain the meaning behind about 321 RIQ. 321 RIQ meaning is 3 Recalls, 2 Insight, 1 Question. The 321 RIQ helps our learning by remembering 3 things about the lessons that the teacher have taught, learning 2 new things that we haven't learned, and 1 question that we haven't ask the teacher. The strategy is that we will have much better literacy and we can always ask the teacher if we are to shy to ask in front of the class. This also can help our teacher to understand what we are up to, or what type of learner we are.
321 RIQ reflection:
In ESOL, the 3 things that I remember about our lessons is introducing ourselves, we also learned more about our teacher and classmates, and also we learned the 321 RIQ. 2 things that I learnt about it is that I know my classmates more and also get to know my teacher Mrs Truter. I also learned more about the 321 RIQ, about the meaning behind it and how this will help our learning. 1 question I want or I want to know more about is, our teacher Mrs Truter, I want to learn more about her since she's still new in Hornby High school, and I want to get to know her more.
In conclusion is that 321 RIQ will help our studies more because we can improve our writing and also our literature. This can also help our classmates to understand the lessons we had and this can also give information about what level of learning we are in.
