When I'm doing my reading visualising our story really helps me to read what we are reading because I can picture it in my mind what are they doing in the story. The story that I'm reading is "badge of honour" its a story about a boy that should think about his responsibility and he should not fight because of his responsibility having the badge he got.
I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 9 and in 2021 I will be a year 10. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Meal Challenge!
Hey guys, so last week we are planning our fitness plan which coming soon but before that last week we cooked our meal, the meal we cooked is spaghetti. The spaghetti was really good because I cooked the sauce, but the others helped me cooked it too so that's really great for me, because I hate being tired. This experiment is really great for us to learn new things like cooking because we easily can cook our own healthy meal without our parents being tired, the only thing that our parents will help us cook our food is the ingredients that we need.
When they are shopping to Pak 'n' Save they told us that they did great shopping you might be asking what did we do, well we didn't do the shopping because we did a performance for our independence day because it's our Araw ng kalayaan which is called our freedom day.
I think my team and I did great because we successfully finish the work on time and we finished our food on time. My team really work hard by helping me cooked and do the work that we are meant to be doing.
We did this C.I.P to help our body to eat healthy food and new food we eat too.

Maths DLO
So this Term 2 we've been working on mathletics, we've been working on mathletics so we can learn more about the divide, times, plus and minus. On my mathletics, I'm working on plus, times and divide. here some of the examples of what I learn.
First is to ignore the 35 but you have to solve the 9 and 321 by dividing it.
so 9 divide 321 and it equals 35 then, times 35 and 9 equals 27 minuses it by 321 it equals 51 and minus it and end into 4 now we make the down and you have 45. the R is where you put the last answer.
this math question is really hard I think I get it but I don't think so I would like to learn it and work hard at maths so I can learn more.

- steel guitar - is a guitar with a steel string

- dreadnaught guitar - is a guitar with a big body
Here are some of the photos that one of my teacher at hurumanu.
The thing we did was really interesting and we learn a lot about guitar but I actually don't know to play the guitar.
